I’m Gilly. A person-centred therapist.
I was drawn to the person-centred approach because I felt it fitted closely with my own values.
At its heart, the approach promotes an equal relationship between client and therapist, with the therapist offering deep empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness.
It is an approach founded on the principle that we are all unique and that we are the experts on ourselves and our experience. As such, I will work alongside you to address whatever you would like to explore.
I trained in London at The Metanoia Institute, a leading counselling and psychotherapy training provider. I graduated with a first-class honours degree in person-centred counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
All my work adheres to the BACP ethical framework which is available at www.bacp.co.uk
