What are your fees and payment options?My fees are £65 for a 50 minute session. Payment is accepted via bank transfer before each session. If you have any questions or need to discuss payment options, please feel free to contact me.

Is counselling confidential?Yes, counselling is confidential. Everything we discuss in our sessions stays between us, with a few exceptions required by law, such as if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others. I adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines to ensure your privacy and trust.

Do you offer online counselling?Yes, I exclusively offer online counselling sessions. These sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home. This flexibility can make it easier to fit counselling into your schedule.

What issues can you help with?I work with clients experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief, low self-esteem, and more. My goal is to provide support tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

What can I expect in my first session?During your first session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss what brings you to counselling. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to achieve. This initial meeting is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about the process and for us to establish a comfortable and trusting relationship.

How many sessions will I need?The number of sessions varies for each individual. Some clients find a few sessions are enough to address their concerns, while others prefer ongoing support. We’ll regularly review your progress together to ensure you’re getting the most out of our time.

How do I prepare for a counselling session?There’s no specific preparation required for a counselling session. It can be helpful to think about what you’d like to discuss, but the most important thing is to come as you are, ready to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

What qualifications do you have?I trained at The Metanoia Institute in London, where I graduated with a first-class honours degree in Person-Centred Counselling. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), ensuring I adhere to high professional standards.

What should I do if I’m in crisis or need immediate help?If you’re in crisis or need immediate help, it’s important to seek support right away. You can contact emergency services, a crisis hotline (e.g. Samaritans 116 123), or visit your nearest A&E.
